José Pablo Arizpe

I was born and raised in Mexico City. Arrived in the US to play college tennis in 2006.. I haven’t left since then except for a year when I went to Spain and Mexico.
I currently live in San Antonio Texas.

In the country club I grew up in Mexico there have always been padel courts. We would play here and there for fun after tennis practice. After finishing my tennis career I started training and playing seriously.
I have been playing for 10+ years.

As a junior in tennis, I won nationals in Mexico and ITF tournaments in 16s and 18 and under. Played futures and challengers got ATP points in singles and doubles.

As a Padel player, I have been ranked #1 in the USPA and represented the USA in World Championships since 2014 (Mallorca2014, Cascáis Portugal 2016, Qatar 2021, Pan-American Games)

I like practicing and watching boxing, MMA, and soccer.

I have French citizenship.

The proudest moment of my Padel career so far has been the very first time I made the US team Mallorca 2014. Same World Cup we were tied 1-1 to the Netherlands and I got to play the deciding match and won it. Also when I got to number 1 in the USA.

Besides court, I do boxing conditioning and footwork drills.
