Making a strong statement to start the third week of action at the Sarah Vande Berg Tennis & Wellness Center was the Miami Padel Club, who won their toughest challenge yet against the Las Vegas Smash in the opening team match of the weekend to remain undefeated this season.

The Las Vegas women tested the Miami women’s team, but the Miami ladies duo remained victorious in the end. The Las Vegas men made a comeback for the team, defeating the Miami men. In the deciding mixed doubles match, it came down to the third set, an edge-of-your-seat ride all the way to the final shot of match point before Miami prevailed over Las Vegas.

In the second team matchup of the day, the San Diego Stingrays had a major comeback to defeat the Arkansas Matrix after losing the women’s doubles match to the strong Arkansas pairing of Cata Tenorio and Egle Petrauskaite. The San Diego men’s team went on to tak win and San Diego carried this momentum into the deciding mixed doubles match to capture the team win against Arkansas.

In the final team matchup of the day, the Cancun Waves defeated the Toronto Polar Bears in a strong shoeing, moving up to third place in the overall standings.
